Barb Michaud
Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer, AKBD
Caribou Location
Barb has been a valued member of the S.W. Collins Co. team since 1993, starting in sales and project estimating before transitioning to the Kitchen & Bath department in 1994. Continuously expanding her expertise, she earned her Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD) certification from the NKBA in 2009. With extensive design experience, Barb is highly skilled in Schluter Systems tile showers, flooring, and all aspects of kitchen and bath design. She has a keen eye for the small details that complete a project. Outside of work, Barb enjoys spending time with family and outdoor activities like gardening, ATV trail riding, and fishing.
Lisa Plourde
Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer, CKBD
Caribou Location
Lisa Plourde, CKBD, brings over 25 years of experience in drafting and design, with a background that includes working as a drafter for a civil engineering firm and a log home company before joining S.W. Collins in 2004. After five years with SWC, she expanded her expertise by managing a design center for a decade before returning to S.W. Collins in late 2019. Lisa holds a drafting degree from Northern Maine Community College and is a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD) through the National Kitchen & Bath Association. Her expertise spans product selection, space planning, materials, and finishing, ensuring beautifully designed and functional spaces. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family at camp and raising her two wonderful children.
Jessica Robbins
Kitchen & Bath Designer
Caribou Location
Jessica brought five years of professional paint experience to S.W. Collins when she joined the Caribou team as a paint specialist in 2012. Her dedication to exceptional service earned her the SWC Customer Appreciation Award in 2016. What began as a passion for color quickly evolved into a love for all aspects of design, leading her to join the Design Center that same year. She embraced the technical aspects of kitchen and bath design, expanding her expertise in cabinetry, flooring, tile, and more. As a color expert, Jessica understands the powerful role color plays in shaping a room’s atmosphere and overall aesthetic. Born in Caribou and raised in San Diego, she returned home to The County after high school. A devoted animal lover, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Gaye Richards
Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer/Draftsman, AKBD
Presque Isle Location
Gaye has been a valued Kitchen & Bath Designer at S.W. Collins Company since 2014. She holds degrees in Drafting Design and Vocational Education from Northern Maine Community College and the University of Southern Maine. Her diverse background includes working for CIANBRO Corporation, a local land surveyor, and teaching drafting and related courses at Northern Maine Community College. With 30 years of experience in construction, design, and education, Gaye brings extensive building knowledge and a keen eye for detail to every project. She has worked on a variety of remodeling jobs and is known in the industry for her expertise, precision, and collaborative approach.
Kelly Burtt
Kitchen & Bath Designer
Presque Isle Location
Kelly has been a vital part of the S.W. Collins team since 2008, building an impressive portfolio of stunning kitchen and bath designs. With a sharp eye for color coordination and a deep understanding of the latest design trends, she is a key contributor to our design team. Coming from a family of cabinet makers and builders, Kelly has a natural passion for design. She also owned her own furniture and textiles business for several years and previously managed Linens ‘n Things, a home textiles and décor retailer. Kelly holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Northern Maine Community College. Outside of work, she cherishes time with her four children and ten wonderful grandchildren, loves being involved with her faith family at Presque Isle Wesleyan Church, and finds her happiest moments by the ocean.
Tracy MacDonald
Kitchen & Bath Designer
Houlton Location
Tracy holds an Associate Degree in Interior Design from the University of New Haven, CT, and brings 18 years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry from her time in Connecticut before relocating to Maine. She specializes in designing kitchens, baths, and other home spaces, with expertise in both custom and semi-custom cabinetry. Passionate about creating functional and beautiful interiors, Tracy enjoys helping clients bring their vision to life. Outside of work, she loves drawing, music, gardening, decorating, and baking.
Janelle Levesque
Kitchen & Bath Designer
Houlton Location
Janelle joined S.W. Collins in the summer of 2019, bringing a strong background in interior design and drafting. A Houlton native, she returned home after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Endicott College in Beverly, MA. She further enriched her education by studying Environmental Architecture and Sustainability at Florence University of the Arts in Italy. Janelle gained hands-on experience through internships at a log home company, an architectural firm in Massachusetts, and S.W. Collins. Her expertise in drafting and design comes from her work as a drafter in northern Maine and a designer in Massachusetts. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and baking.
Bonnie Schule
Kitchen & Bath Designer
Lincoln Location
Bonnie’s experience includes serving as a regional Visual Planning Manager for a national furniture brand, running her own design company and working as the senior designer for a regional general contracting firm. Bonnie earned her certification in Interior Design (CID) from the Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design and her Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) certification from the National Association of Homebuilders. She is fully experienced in layout and space planning as well as product, material and color selection. Outside of work, Bonnie enjoys spending time with family as well as traveling to new places and exploring the local area.
