S.W. Collins Seeks Applicants for Grant Program
In 2019, the company celebrated its 175th anniversary with the launch of a new community donation program. Due to the overwhelming response, we have decided to continue the program and are offering local organizations the opportunity to apply for grant funding that will total $20,000 throughout the year. An organization can apply as a cause alone or it can be for a specific project or event they are working on.
The retail locations in Fort Kent, Caribou, Presque Isle, Houlton and Lincoln will each have $1,000 per quarter available for three local causes. The $1,000 will be divided up according to customer input at the grant kiosk located in each store. Customers will receive one token for every purchase which they will deposit in the tube labeled with the cause of their choice. At the end of each quarter, the tokens will be measured and the $1,000 will be prorated to each of the local causes.
Deadlines to apply for funding are December 20, 2019, March 15, June 15, and September 15, 2020. Applications are available on the website at swcollins.com/grant or you can contact Leslie Jackson at 207-496-6723 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Applications can be mailed to S.W. Collins Co., PO Box 70, Caribou, ME 04736, Emailed to email@example.com or dropped off at your local store.
