Muskie Derby
August 8 - August 10
The Town of Fort Kent, Maine together with the Fort Kent International Muskie Derby Committee are pleased to announce the Annual Fort Kent International Muskie Fishing Derby Friday – Sunday, August 8th-10th, 2025. The derby begins at 9:00 A.M. Friday and the scales will be open until 5 :00 P.M. on Sunday evening.

New this year is a Erik Gardner Memorial Biggest Fish competition which pays $200/day for the largest fish brought in. This tribute is to Erik Gardner from his Class of 1997. He was an avid fisherman who loved the area and all it had to offer. He was a great friend to so many in the Valley and his loss is felt everyday in our community. Erik loved this event and we are proud to name this prize in his honor. Long live Gardner!
